Many logo designers fall into a trap that has as result a big waste of time. In fact, it is a two-side sword. Some designers simply ignore to admire logos uploaded on various galleries, the idea behind is simple: by seeing these you don’t create any logo, therefore is a waste of time and nothing more. The opponents are saying that without inspiration you can’t create something and the “time lost” by admiring the works of other designers is vital.

A wise designer will follow the middle solution; he won’t stay all day long to see the works of others, but will consult, from time to time, some logo galleries to see the state of the community. Personally, I consider it being the best choosing, I can’t say that it is the best idea but it works for me. Yeah, instead of a passive attitude, I consider that is tenfold better to study more carefully the logos and try to understand the essence of it and how the designer created it… this is the real advantage and the base of a sustainable logo design carrier.
