How To: Make a Print-Ready Floral Business Card in Adobe Photoshop
So you want to create your own business card?
In this tutorial, I’ll show you the step by step, how to create a print-ready floral style business card in Adobe Photoshop.

2-Garden Roses Elements by Mikibith Art
Step 1: Set Up New Document
Go to [File] > [New…], and enter the following:
- [Name](optional): floral business card front
- [width]: 2,25 inches
- [Height]: 3,75 inches
- [Resolution]: 300 pixel/inch
- [Color Mode]: CMYK Color 8 bit
Step 2: Set Up Guidelines
Click [View] > [New Guide…],
Choose [Orientation] to [Vertical] and fill [Position] to 0,125 in Inches
Do it again and fill this:
Vertical
– 0,25 inches
– 0,35 inches
– 2,125 inches
– 2 inches
– 1,9 inches
– 50 Percent
Horizontal
– 0,125 inches
– 0,25 inches
– 0,35 inches
– 3,625 inches
– 3,5 inches
– 3,4 inches
– 50 Percent
Result
Step 3: Create a floral background
For this tutorial we use image from The Garden Roses by HungryJPEG
First, Create a new group and name it.
Create green background by click [Solid Color…]
Fill color code: #94ceaf
Add Flower image
Resize image to 43%
Duplicate flower image by right click on layer and choose [Duplicate Layer…]
Set the blending mode for duplication the layer flower image by choose [Multiply]
Now, merge All in the group by choose Merge Group
Create [Rectangular Marquee Tool]
Go to [Image] > [Adjustments] > [Hue/Saturation…]
Set [Lightness] : +100
Step 4: Write your profile detail
Add text and write your name, here I use font size: 18pt and font “New Ayres” from The Stellar October Bundle by HungryJPEG
Add another text
Create underline with [Line Tool] fill with yellow color (#f8f400) Width: 233px and Height: 4px.
Add another text and underline at the bottom business card, here I use font “Montserrat” with [font style]: Light and font size: 6pt, font color black
The Result
Step 5: Create Back side of Business Card
Set up new document and repeat Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3
Now create rectangle object with [Width]: 524px and [Height]: 190px, fill color to white (#ffffff) and put at the center
Right click on rectangle object and click [Blending Options…]
At [Blending Options] set [Fill Opacity]: 0%
Set [Stroke] to:
[Size]: 4px
[Position]: Inside
[Blend Mode]: Normal
[Opacity]: 100%
[Color]: White (#ffffff)
Create another rectangle object with [Width]: 466px and [Height]: 148px, fill color to white (#ffffff) and put at the center
Add text and write your name, here I use font “New Ayres” and font size same with Step 4
