A good logo is defined by the fact that has a strong and understandable message to transmit to the viewers. Comparing to a poster or a website, a logo is way smaller, therefore the limited size of it puts the logo creators in a difficult situation. More pragmatically, a logo designer should express the mentality, the style and the products of the logo owner in just a few pixels. It’s a difficult task but at the same time many people are addicted to this perpetual striving of expressing more with fewer elements. Willing or not, a logo should speak but using no words. In conclusion, every pixel of a logo is very important and each detail must be very carefully treated.

An element that transmits as much information as words is the choice of colors. It’s true, sometimes we are ignoring them but it doesn’t mean that a color doesn’t have a message. Taking into account that the summer will come soon, it’s quite probable to have on your plateau to create some logos that express joy, warmth, energy, optimism. Under these circumstances it’s almost obvious that you should use the yellow color- it’s quite probable the best solution in this case. Using yellow color in your project has also other interesting and important benefits as: stimulates memory and mental activity, builds confidence and encourages the communication. Of course, yellow has some negative meanings as cowardice, jealousy and in some regions on the planet it has very particular senses (in Egypt it is sometimes associated with mourning).

Every constant reader of iBrandStudio.com knows that monthly we are highlighting the best logos. Of course, we couldn’t neglect this aspect and here are the best logos uploaded in the previous month. As usually, we may miss some interesting logos and we strongly ask the readers for their contribution; the comment form is for you!

Comparing with the previous month, it seems that the number of logos brings up while the quality remains very high; yeah, there were enough poor creations but overall, the logo designers created stunning works. Another conclusion of this month is the fact that all the types of creations were uploaded, there is no special trend that simply exponentially grown; from 3D logos to black and white concepts all were used.

My advice is to study all the logos bellow and extract the essence. It’s true, without practice none may evolve, but the inspiration usually comes when admiring other works. On the other hand, nothing is more shamefully than copying a logo. Firstly, it destroys the reputation of the owner and secondly, it’s a shame for creator (well, it’s much recommended to replace “creator” with “thief”).

I am a big lover of spring and March and April are always a great reason to be happy. Well, the first decade of the previous month proved to respect this pattern, but the last one was totally different. The interesting fact is that the winter is showing its power almost all over the world (when I wrote this post all the televisions had informed people that heavy snowfalls are in Canada, USA and some European countries). It’s clear, the winter doesn’t want to leave.

It shouldn’t be a reason to stay upset; the spring will come sooner or later. Any person, including logo designers, is influenced by weather so be prepared for a fresh dose of green and bright colors in the near future. I believe that spring is a great source of inspiration, it’s the season where the colors explode and people search for novelties, the idea of life is highlighted everywhere you see.

Expecting the spring, I created here a list of some of the most interesting colorful and vibrant logos. Definitely, the joy of color impresses even the saddest viewers, therefore I really recommend enjoying these. I am convinced that our loyal readers already know that every month, they will find here a new post highlighting the best logos of the previous month. Now it’s time for February. Even if it is the shortest month, it didn’t mean that the number of logos uploaded was reduced. Anyway, the number doesn’t matter too much, what really matters, is the quality of them. Well, the good news is that I was completely delighted with the new creations. It was very challenging to select only the crème of the top but in the same time it was a real pleasure. It seems that February was a great time for the majority of logo designers.
