It’s the beginning of a new month and our constant readers know already that it’s time for a new inspirational post showcasing the best logos uploaded in the previous month. March was a great month for logo design community because once again, the logo galleries are full of impressive logos. Of course, we carefully picked up the best ones and voila, here is the final selection. Continue Reading »
We believe that debating the matter of inspiration for logo designers is a topic that will never end. This idea is based on the fact that creating logos is partly science, partly art; while science is objective and quantifiable, the art is subjective, it can’t be measured and it’s very related to the inspiration level of the individual. A very disciplined designer that has no inspiration won’t be able to create a good logo. Yeah, it’s somehow sad, but a good designer needs something more than a solid theoretical knowledge baggage. Still, nowadays getting inspired isn’t something not to be cured. Fortunately, we have tons of logo showcases, logo galleries and blogs about this area. Continue Reading »
We are already in March, therefore it’s time for a new monthly episode from our collection, “the best logos of the month”. February is the shortest month of the year, but I have had a very pleasant surprise from the logo design community. In this month were uploaded on various logo galleries a huge number of logos and many of them are really beautifully created. We mentioned from time to time that the designers created amazing logos, but this time I consider it was the best month. As a result, we have here more than 30 logos and I was very exigent when judging the value of these. Would it mean that the logo designers started a new revolution? Well, I don’t think so, but there are clear items proving that the logo design community is a mature one that continues to grow with an incredible ratio. Continue Reading »
Nowadays, the technology integration level in our life style is impressive. Many of us can’t live without their smartphone or e-mail account and the predictions are not surprising at all: technology will became the second “oxygen” for all of us.
The impact of technological development is huge and it affects all the domains. iBrandstudio is a design related blog, therefore it’s logical to present the effects of technologies in the designers’ activities. Definitely, the most useful aspect is the use of new software solutions that allow creating better designs. Continue Reading »
The majority of the designers are workaholic persons and it has almost only negative consequences. One of the most dangerous effects is the lack of “time awareness”; many times they forget what day of the week is. Unfortunately, I consider myself being half-workaholic and often I am surprised by how fast the time is passing. As example, we are already in February, but I am in the mood of Christmas and New Year’s Eve. I hope that there are other people that have the same feeling as me!!!
Willing or not, we should accept that February is here and January is the past. The positive aspect is that the first month of the year was a productive period for logo designers because the Internet is full of simply amazing logo creations. Yeah, I didn’t expect to admire so many logos created into a month that included many free days. I guess that 2014 will be a great year for logo design community if the logo creators keep the same rhythm. Continue Reading »

Good bye 2013 and welcome 2014! We celebrated the New Year and many of us already started working, just the lucky ones allowed themselves few extra days of holidays. Usually, at the end of the year, everyone is looking back and evaluates their personal evolution. Also, right now it’s time for setting new deadlines and targets.
Generally speaking, 2013 was an interesting year. It has many positive and negative aspects, but 2013 was the year where things were speeded up towards a more mobile Internet. I guess that is no logo designer not to have an idea about responsive design. Of course, the profound modifications in the web design field influenced the way of crafting logos. Continue Reading »
A logo may represent a company, a business or a product and its quality is instantly associated with the represented entity. A good logo is the distinctive sign of a quality product while a poor one is associated to a less quality item. As a result, a logo is an important factor into the profit equation.
Amazing amounts of money are transacted in the real estate domain and definitely, the visual identity is capital in having a good reputation. A logo designer who creates a logo for a real estate company is under great pressure and only the most talented people are hired to complete such tasks. Fortunately, the great majority of logos created for these kinds of projects are extremely beautiful and therefore any failure that may occur can’t possibly be related to them. Continue Reading »
It’s the beginning of a new month, the last one of this year, and as usually, we collected the best logos exposed in the previous month on various logo galleries. The logo design community was very active in November and we have invested a lot of time in order to select the most creative logos. On the other hand, it was a real pleasure to admire how creative other logo designers were.
I am wondering how creative are some designers and how do they always stay creative, at full level? My first thought was to believe that it’s about talent and intellect. It might be true, but I refuse to consider that it’s the principal factor in being creative and efficient. The mind can be modelled- take the example of Steve Jobs and Jony Ive, both are dyslexic. Therefore, I am convinced that everything depends on our inner motivation- you decide your own way. Continue Reading »
The number of online presences is constantly growing and due to this fact, the Internet users developed a new sense. It’s weird, but true! This new sense is referring to the users’ ability of ignoring the annoying banners and focusing on the content. Altogether, the logo designers should “fight” against this new sense. In conclusion, every logo should attract the eyes of the viewers. Well, it’s extremely easy to say, but when applying it turns to be more difficult.
Superficially thinking, a more colorful logo has bigger chances of being noticed. Following this logical enhancement a black and white logo is boring and unnoticeable. Paradoxically, these logos are some of the most appreciated! The simplicity has its special beauty and some logo designers knew how to profit from. Continue Reading »
